Automatic Door Closers are most commonly used in conjunction with an FD30 or higher rated fire door. This is so once the fire door has been used the automatic door closer will pull or push the fire door closed behind the user, to prevent the spread in the event of a fire. However they can also be used in other areas where the door is required to be kept shut immediately after use.View
