The business began trading in 2005 and DavesDoors.co.uk launched as an online store in 2008. Since then, we have developed a wide-ranging collection of external, internal and fire-rated doors, supported by nationwide delivery throughout the UK.
Who We Are
DavesDoors.co.uk grew from a background in handcrafted furniture manufacturing, cabinet making, bespoke kitchens, joinery and door installation.
David, the founder of DavesDoors.co.uk, has more than 25 years’ experience working with timber, furniture, interiors and doors. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Handcrafted Furniture Manufacturing & Design and remains directly involved in the business, product selection and the practical information provided to customers.
This experience gives the business a practical understanding of doors beyond their appearance or price. It helps us assess construction, materials, specifications, finishing requirements and suitability when selecting products and advising customers.

DavesDoors.co.uk is primarily a nationwide online supply business.
A separate local fitting and door-installation service may be available upon request through DJC Interiors. Installation availability depends on the customer’s location, the type of door and the current fitting schedule.
Customers elsewhere in the UK can order on a supply-only basis for installation by their own suitably experienced joiner or installer.

Our experience has taught us that choosing the door itself is only one part of a successful project.
Accurate measuring, appropriate installation, correct finishing and ongoing maintenance can all affect how a door looks and performs. We therefore provide practical guides covering subjects such as measuring for a new door, selecting an appropriate product, fitting, finishing and maintaining external timber doors.
